Everyone has a part to play in church life: men, women, young, old, slaves, masters (Titus 2:1-10).
As we seek to identify places for them to serve and to grow, it is helpful to see two categories of church life: shepherding and serving.
Shepherding
- Word ministry
- Prayer
- Caring for the sick or grieving
- Caring for widows
- Caring for the 'weaker brothers and sisters' (Romans 14:1-6)
Serving
- Buildings
- Budgets
- Body
- Borders
- Bums
