Trustees
Ultimately FIEC is accountable to its affiliated churches, who vote on any major changes. Integral to how we operate is our twelve-man Trust Board.
The Trustees act on behalf of the churches in making policy, safeguarding the Fellowship’s integrity, and in meeting - as its trustees - FIEC’s legal responsibilities.
They’re also responsible for ensuring the staff team serve the churches and fulfil FIEC’s vision. Trust Board members are voted into office by representatives from our churches and they serve in office for three years before re-election.
The current Trust Board is as follows:
Nominating Trustees
FIEC has a maximum of 12 charity trustees who are all members of FIEC churches. They meet three times each year for a Trust Board Meeting.
In the summer, all affiliated churches receive details of how to nominate Trustees to serve on the Board, and Trustees are elected to serve three-year terms at the FIEC Annual General Meeting. The AGM normally takes place in November.
Annual Review and Financial Statements
Every year, the FIEC Trustees submit their Report of the Trust Board and Financial Statements to the Charity Commission which includes the fully audited accounts.
These are published on the Charity Commission website and can also be found below.
