John Kirkby

Dr John Kirkby CBE (although he much prefers 'Johnny Boy') lost everything by the age of 30. His parents, his marriage, his home. Two daughters to feed, steeped in debt, lost, angry, alone.

One man became a real friend to John, and eventually invited him to church - John was baptised and his life transformation began. 

He founded and grew Christians Against Poverty (CAP) world-wide, seeing thousands become debt-free and find Christ.

After handing CAP to the next generation, God gave him Isaiah 61:1, and the Isaiah 61 Movement (i61) was born. i61 partners with churches and equips the saints to build Jesus-sharing culture.
