Women's Worker

Bridge Chapel is a independent gospel-centered church (size around 300) in South Liverpool. We exist to Glorify God by Edifying believers and Multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ. We're a diverse mix of ages, stages, and backgrounds, united by our love for the Lord Jesus, one another, and the world around us. Our community centre and cafe offer an exciting platform for gospel ministry, with strong links to the local community.

We're looking to appoint a Women's Worker to support and develop the in-depth discipleship and training of women across the congregation, to equip women to serve in gospel ministry and flourish in all areas of their Christian lives. The individual will be involved in various aspects of discipleship and evangelism among women, depending on their gifts and experience, and the needs and opportunities of the church.
Start date is flexible. Full time preferred, part time considered (potentially alongside formal study) subject to discussion. Initial 3 year fixed term.

Required Skills

We are looking for a woman with:

- A personal, mature faith in Jesus, seen in humility, love, graciousness, and purity
- A love for the lost, care for the needy, and a desire to build up the family of God
- A commitment to the ministry of God's word engaging the hearts and lives of individuals
- Evidence of gifting and experience in Bible teaching across a range of formats and contexts
- Desirable: experience in equipping and training others for word ministry
- Desirable: formal theological training (or currently in training).
 

This role has an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a female Christian in full agreement with our statement of faith and doctrinal distinctives.
