CityGates Church, Norwich is a growing, vibrant city centre church. We gather around 400 people over our three Sunday services. We have a vision to see Norwich, Norfolk and the UK reached for Christ. Our vision includes training up and sending out the next generation of gospel workers.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at CityGates as a Pastor-in-Training. The Pastor-in-Training position will serve to develop you in a number of key areas: theological rigour, hands-on ministry experience and character formation. The candidate will work alongside the Pastors and the Staff Team furthering the vision and mission of the church.

As well as working within our Student & Young Adult ministry, the role will include developing ministry skills in areas of leadership, one-to-one discipleship, preaching and teaching and other general ministry areas. There may well be opportunities for additional ministry area responsibilities depending upon gifting and experience.
