Welcome Hall Evangelical Church (WHEC) is a long-established and growing church in the heart of the village of Catshill on the edge of the town of Bromsgrove, between Birmingham and Worcester.

We are a gospel-centred church reaching out to our local community with the good news of Jesus. We have a thriving children's and youth ministry, with weekly groups for all ages attracting large numbers from unchurched families.

This appointment is for a fixed term of 11 months from early September 2025 to early August 2026, and is designed for a man wanting to explore a call to full-time pastoral ministry. Free accommodation will be provided in a newly-renovated flat on the church premises.

You will serve alongside a full-time Pastor, part-time Administrator and large team of enthusiastic volunteers, while also receiving theological training (eg Midlands Ministry Training Course).

Your role will include significant involvement in children's and youth ministry both on Sundays and during the week, in a way that will be shaped around your personality and gifts. In line with our Safeguarding Policy, you will be subject to enhanced disclosure and barring checks.
