About Our Church and the Role:

Streatham Central Church (SCC) is a vibrant, multicultural evangelical church planted through the Co-Mission Network and affiliated with the FIEC and Evangelical Alliance. Ten years after its founding, SCC continues to grow as a diverse community that reflects the life-changing message of Jesus. As the church transitions from a small plant to a more established congregation, there's a growing need for increased staff capacity and structured ministry coordination. To meet this need, SCC is seeking a Ministry Coordinator to support the pastors and ministry teams, helping ensure that church life runs smoothly.

Ministry Coordinator Responsibilities and Requirements:

The Ministry Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting church operations, including Sunday service logistics, event planning, charity management, and administration. Key duties involve coordinating volunteers, managing rotas, overseeing communications, and maintaining compliance policies. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator with proven administrative experience and a heart for serving in a church context. A personal Christian faith and alignment with the church's beliefs are essential, along with a willingness to be part of the SCC family and work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
