We're looking for someone to join the staff team here at Redeemer as our next intern!
The internship is an opportunity to become better equipped to serve the Lord and his people, through a combination of practical experience, a ministry training course and one-to-one supervision.
This is a paid training role for a period of one year, which involves supporting some of the ministries of the church, including some administrative responsibilities in the church office as well as helping with day-to-day operations at the Old Town Hall.

Ministry areas may include:

  • Children/youth
  • Music
  • Social Justice
  • Young adults
  • Other - depending on candidate

Required Skills

Skills:
- Initiative, responsibility and self-motivation
- Planning, organisation and time management skills
- The ability to organise others
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate in a pastorally sensitive way
- Competent computer skills - responsibility for maintaining records and developing electronic registration systems.

Knowledge and experience:
- Experience of working independently

Personal attributes:
- A committed Evangelical Christian whose beliefs impact all aspects of the performance of the role and who can enthusiastically affirm our statement of faith
- In agreement with FIEC ethos statements on gospel unity, women in ministry and same sex marriage
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Values people: is friendly, engaging and receptive
- High level of personal discretion and judgement
