Hounslow West Evangelical Church is a community of God's people, located in the London Borough of Hounslow, who exist to glorify God by loving Him and loving one another.

We are a Bible-based church seeking to bring the Gospel to a very multicultural, multiethnic and multilingual area. The church comprises a range of ages and situations from all over the globe, including a number of families. The church currently has an active membership of 30.

Our Sunday services are at 11am and 6.30pm, which are devoted to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, to prayer, and encouraging one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit.

We meet weekly for prayer and to study God's word together. We have monthly Ladies & Men's bible study meetings. We currently have a well-established toddler group, an English conversation group and Sunday school.

Required Skills We are seeking a Pastor who meets the Biblical qualifications for an Elder found in 1 Timothy 3 & Titus 1. It is an essential requirement that the Pastor be a committed Christian, with his own daily walk with Christ. He will have a strong desire to continue to encourage the church in becoming committed and growing disciples of Jesus Christ by word and example.

Required Skills

We are prayerfully seeking someone with these characteristics and skills: Have a love for God, for his people and for his Word. Be able to communicate God's Word to all ages, primarily in our Sunday services, but also in our other meetings and, where appropriate, individually. Show Christian character in his own life, situation and in dealings with other people. Be evangelistic-minded, passionate about reaching the local community with the gospel. Be involved in the pastoral care of the church and the training, development and equipping of the membership.
