Children's & Youth Worker

We are a lively church in South Birmingham with a big presence in our local community. We want to reach children and young people with the good news of Jesus and make disciples of the next generation. We have great relationships with our local schools, we have great volunteers. The role will be to lead on all things children and youth and help us to make disciples of the next generation.

Required Skills

We are looking for someone with some experience of working with children and young people, but what is more important than experience is a beating heart to work with this age group. There will be opportunities to work in local schools, but we can provide some training and support for this if this is not something you have done before. We have a Sunday school, a lively Kids club, youth groups and a youth homegroup. We also take our young people away for a summer camp and involvement. The right person will be able to take a lead in these and work with the existing teams of volunteers.
