We are a gospel centred church plant in NE London that was founded in October 2021 with a small, diverse church family. We are part of the FIEC, the Co-Mission network, and the NE London "A Passion for Life" churches. Our vision is to be a church of all nations committed to making disciples of all nations. As a leadership team, we are serious about ministry training and have had the joy of sending out gospel workers this past year. ANCBC have a unique opportunity in a cross-cultural church planting context for a children's ministry trainee to start in September 2025 for 3years. Ideally suited to someone who has a heart for, and is actively involved in, children's ministry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

a. MINISTRY TRAINING: Attendance at Cornhill Training Course and Co-Mission Ministry Training Workshop. Active member of our staff team: participating in weekly staff team meetings, fortnightly mentoring from our Families Worker, and on-the-job ministry training from experienced practitioners.

b. SERVING THE CHURCH: General responsibilities will be given to serve the church on Sundays and in our growing range of mid-week ministries.

c. CROSS-CULTURAL EVANGELISM: Opportunities to work with the leadership in pioneering and developing new initiatives, with support and encouragement.

d. CHILDREN'S WORK: Sunday school, church clubs, school assemblies and other outreach opportunities.

Required Skills

We are looking for someone: 

a. Who has godly character and a heart for cross-cultural evangelism; 

b. Who is teachable and willing to learn; 

c. With some aptitude for Bible teaching and leading; 

d. Who is a creative self starter with entrepreneurial spirit; 

e. Who has a heart for children's ministry; 

f. Who is willing to raise some finance, with help and direction.
