Children and Youth Worker
Welbeck Road Evangelical Church
Our church has been a Gospel witness in the Byker/Walker area of Newcastle since the 1930s, with many opportunities to share Jesus with young people and their families. We currently run a lunchtime club in a local primary school, as well as weekly church-based groups.
The C&YW will plan and prepare for regular groups, lead volunteers and foster good relationship with the children and their families. They will oversee seasonal events and help oversee our summer Holiday Club.
Required Skills
We are seeking a Children and Youth Worker who has had experience working with children in a church environment (either paid or voluntary), ideally for at least 2 years.
