Context:
Situated in the large village of Brixworth, Northamptonshire, Brixworth Community Church is a Bible believing Evangelical Church.
Founded in 1988, we have grown from a small fellowship meeting in a home to now 50 - 80 individuals/families worshipping at the local primary School. See brixworthcommunitychurch.org

The Job Description:
An excellent opportunity to work alongside the pastor with an emphasis on building upon new and existing ministries among children, youth and families. This varied and vital role will enable the successful applicant to be part of regular church life through participation in prayer meetings, house groups, social events, planning and helping organise and run our weekly services.
 

Required Skills

Essential:

  • Have a clear calling into ministry.
  • Have a desire to grow in the skills and gifting of being a Pastor.
  • Experience of working with children, youth and young families.
  • Sympathetic to the ethos of the FIEC
  • Adaptable and self-motivated.
  • A committed team player.
  • Good communication skills.

Desirable but not Essential:

  • Completed formal theological training.
  • Proficient in IT skills.
  • Musician
