Planting can be a lonely task. Church plants can feel fragile and planters can be faced with multiple options and decisions.
We give support and advice to those looking to lead and pastor church plants.
- We arrange coaching for planters, when a more experienced planter meets regularly with the new planter to give advice and support.
- We invite planters to join a planting cohort, where a group of planters meet regularly for training, input, and encouragement.
- We signpost to suitable training and other resources.

Church plant recognition
We have a process in place that allows a church plant to be recognised as part of the FIEC, even before it has launched.
Recognition gives a plant some of the support and benefits of affiliation with FIEC without them needing to have a formal constitution.
Becoming an FIEC Recognised Church Plant also gives eligibility to receive grants to help with the costs of setting up as a charity.
