Independents have a long history of considering corporate worship. It was instrumental in many people’s decision to leave the established church and key in the churches they founded.

However, having freedom to worship as they wished didn’t always mean they worshipped very well. Independent churches have often struggled to know how to worship within their culture and hold truth and emotion together.
