Rob Scott
Rob helps to lead Asha, a Sylheti- and English-speaking church in Tower Hamlets, East London, which has been meeting since 2021. There has always been at least one Sylheti unbeliever joining them on a Sunday!
He is married to Beccy and they have three almost-grown-up children. They previously spent 18 months in Sylhet, Bangladesh, to learn the Sylheti language in order to share the gospel to some of the 100,000 Sylheti Bangladeshi Muslim people in Tower Hamlets in their own heart language.
Rob teaches Islamic Studies for Oak Hill Theological College and has written Sharing the Gospel with a Muslim Neighbour (2021).
Other things he gets time for are listening to the Rest is History while cooking, playing football with other middle-aged guys, watching West Wing (repeatedly), doing parkrun and occasionally swimming in a London dock.
