Mel Lacy

Mel is the Executive Director of Growing Young Disciples, a charitable organisation devoted to promoting and supporting biblical children’s and youth ministry.

For over 20 years she has been in full-time children’s and youth ministry in various contexts and countries. She has had extensive experience in church-based children’s and youth ministry and has, more recently, served as the Director of the Children’s and Youth Ministry Course at Oak Hill College for 11 years.

She remains passionate about theological training for those in children’s, youth and family ministry and is now on the faculty of Crosslands, heading up the Youth and Children’s Ministry track. Mel is also the author of the New City Catechism Curriculum (2018).
