Matthew Jones

Matt was born in Bristol, eventually making the Black Country his home where he met and married Helen. They have four children, the middle two being twins, and they now live in Wombourne, Staffordshire.

After 15 years in commercial photography, the call to ministry led to training at London Theological Seminary and then four years in construction before working for New Life Church Wall Heath and becoming pastor in 2013.

Matt spent 29 summers on Christian camps in Wales, with the last ten as a chaplain, but the outdoors is now mostly enjoying the garden.

He is a suffering supporter of Bristol City Football Club, a big fan of coffee, history, growing trees, keeping poultry, construction projects, and the yearly visit to the drag racing.
