James Mildred

James is the Director of Communications and Engagement at Christian Action, Research, and Education (CARE).

He is responsible for CARE’s external communications, from social media to websites, and also oversees CARE’s campaigns, media work and church engagement. He also works closely with CARE’s CEO, Ross Hendry, and the rest of the Senior Team on CARE’s priorities and strategy.

Prior to joining CARE, he trained for two years for church ministry at Grace Church Yate and worked in politics at the Scottish Parliament and Westminster.

James is married to Cara, who’s a journalist, and they live in Southfields, South West London. He is an elder at Trinity Road Chapel in Wandsworth.
