Gerry Straker

Gerry trained at Oak Hill Theological College and was Assistant Pastor at Moorlands Church, Lancaster for three years. Before training for the ministry, Gerry worked for St John’s Lindow in Cheshire and in university administration.

Since 2011, Gerry has been Pastor of Church by the Bay in Morecambe which started in 2011 as a plant from Moorlands.

Gerry is married to Catherine and they have a son and three daughters. The Straker family have lived in the West End of Morecambe since 2008 and love living in the town.

Gerry still attempts running, cycling, and football.
