Gavin Smith
Gavin has been serving as the Church Manager at Christchurch, Newport since 2004 and is also the founder of The Church Office, an online resource that supports leadership and the work of ministry behind the scenes.
He is passionate about the gospel and strengthening the church by supporting the work that happens behind the scenes. In his spare time, Gavin is a Director of the UK Church Administrators Network.
Before working for Christchurch, Gavin had a brief professional career with Cardiff City and he still enjoys nutmegging other players- especially those who think he’s too old for football now!
Gavin is married to Emma and they have four wonderfully lively children, and a fluffy dog named Max.
