Gareth Lewis
Director for South Wales
After studying Theology and Education in Oxford and working as a teacher, Gareth served with UCCF in the south of England for seven years whilst working as a Special Constable. After this, he was invited to serve as student worker at St Helen’s Bishopsgate before becoming associate minister at Cheam Baptist Church.
After five years at Cheam, Gareth become senior minister at ChristChurch Harpenden where he served for 30 years before starting his with FIEC in 2023 as Director for South Wales.
His role includes helping FIEC churches in the South Wales area, supporting their day-to-day ministry, and galvanising partnership working.
He is married to Priscilla and they have four grown-up married children and nearly seven grandchildren.
