Gareth Bartlett

Gareth was raised going to church and made a commitment to God for himself in his teens. His faith grew whilst at Heriot-Watt University studying engineering and, following graduation, he got a job in Winchester where he lives today.

He met his wife Catherine up a mountain in Slovakia only to discover they were born in the same town! They are both currently involved in the leadership at Winchester Baptist Church: Catherine in missions and Gareth as an elder.

Gareth's work has always been focused around projects both small and large, and on completion of a major extension and refurbishment of his home, he enrolled on a Master’s Degree in Project Management with the aim of serving people before business.

Gareth joined The Soldiers' and Airmen's Scripture Readers Association (SASRA) as Development Officer in February 2020.
