Becky Thomas
Director for Church Governance
Becky grew up in Coventry before moving to Nottingham to complete a paediatric nursing degree. She is married to James and they have three children, one of whom is married. They have been members at Beeston Free Church for over 20 years.
When Becky's youngest daughter started school, she offered to volunteer a few hours a week in the church office, a role which grew into a job!
Once described as an organisational freak (by a pastor's wife!), Becky worked for 15 years as the Operations Manager for Beeston Free, responsible for governance and operations in the church.
In 2023, Becky was seconded to FIEC to engage with affiliated churches directly in the area of governance and operations, moving to serve with FIEC full-time in September 2025 as Director for Church Governance.
