Alan Young

Alan has worked as a doctor in Nepal and the UK and served for many years in the leadership of Widcombe Baptist Church, Bath. He is married to Tat and they have three children and seven grandchildren.

The changes Alan saw in Nepal in the 20 years between his first and second periods as a medical missionary alerted him to the damaging impact we are having on God’s creation. Experiences and insights since then have made him ever more convinced that we who acknowledge the Creator, should be at the forefront of caring for that creation, and that the good news in Jesus alone brings a message of hope.
