Gather, Refresh, and Grow at Rising Lights 2027

Organised by FIEC, Rising Lights is an Easter gathering in Torquay, Devon, which sees Christians come together to be refreshed by God’s word to help them grow in their faith. More than 2,000 people joined us for the inaugural event earlier this year.

We are delighted that Rising Lights will take place again in 2027 and we’d love for you to invite your church to join us.

All FIEC churches have been sent a pack of Rising Lights flyers in the post. We would be grateful if you would share them with your church on a Sunday.

They include all you need to know about the event, a link to book, and fold out to a poster featuring Matthew 5:14.

If there is someone from your church who came to Rising Lights this year and enjoyed their time, it would be great to interview them – or even ask them to take on the task of inviting others to 2027.

Bookings for Rising Lights open at 9am on Thursday 3 September and we expect our children’s provision to sell out quickly, so please let those who are interested know about this date.

Event tickets

Event tickets give access to the full event programme:

• £185 for adults.
• £60 for students in full-time education.
• £60 for children aged 7 months - 18 years (in school).
• Free for 0-6 months (no provision for this age group).

You must book your own accommodation.

Day tickets

For local visitors, you can book a ticket to cover the programme for a single day for £60 per person per day. This does not include children or youth provision.

Accommodation tickets

There are a limited number of half-board and bed & breadfast tickets available, including access to the whole event plus a four night stay at a hotel including food.

Bed and breakfast

• Single room at Abbey Sands Hotel: £400
• Twin or double room at Abbey Sands Hotel: £700

Dinner, bed, and breakfast

• Single room at Livermead House Hotel: £450
• Twin or double room at Livermead House Hotel: £875
