Knighton Free Church is a thriving evangelical church in the south of Leicester with around 200 members and a congregation of over 400, including children. We are united by our desire to make Jesus known and see His people grow in maturity and faith.
We're looking for a Women's Ministry Lead; someone who loves Jesus, loves His Word, and loves helping women grow in their relationship with Him. This is a key leadership role - you'll be shaping, encouraging and equipping women's ministry across the church. The role will include:

  • Leading and developing women's ministry at KFC.
  • Teaching the Bible in groups and one-to-one.
  • Discipling, mentoring and praying with women.
  • Encouraging others to use their gifts in ministry.
  • Working with the pastoral team to provide care and support.
  • Being part of a warm, prayerful and supportive staff team.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a deep, personal relationship with Jesus.
  • Loves God's Word and applies it wisely to everyday life.
  • Has experience in women's ministry and a heart to see others grow.
  • Is a natural encourager and team player.
  • Communicates clearly and warmly.
  • Will play an active role in the life of the church.

We anticipate this will be a full-time role but would consider part time for the right candidate. The salary for the role is £30,000.
If you're passionate about seeing women flourish in their faith and eager to serve within a warm, gospel-centred community, we'd love to hear from you. Email [email protected] for a full job description and details of how to apply. The deadline for applications is 31 January 2026.
