City Evangelical Church Leeds is a growing vibrant multi-cultural, multi-generational church family gathering from all around Leeds. We proclaim Jesus Christ to those who do not yet know Him as Lord and Saviour and to one-another. Through and in Jesus' strength, we seek to make disciples of all nations being transformed into the likeness of Jesus by the power of the Spirit through the word for the glory of God the Father.

This role is for a man who is either starting or early on in serving as a fulltime Pastor. You will work under the supervision of the Pastor and the elders. We are seeking to train up future pastors as 2 Timothy 2:2 mandates us to. Therefore you will be significantly involved in preaching and service leading. Personal spiritual formation is an important part of this role. You will also be overseeing the children and youth teams (under the oversight of the elders) this will involve leading volunteers and help develop your leadership skills. You will also have the opportunity to serve the church family through Bible teaching, prayer, pastoral care and practical service. As the role is a training role you will receive regular feedback and support.

This role is open to a man hoping to start theological training, is in the middle of theological training or who has recently completed theological training but would benefit from some more hands-on ministry training experience. (please do contact us if you are not sure you fit this description to discuss this.)
