You will need to be able to declare wholehearted acceptance of the FIEC doctrinal basis and agreement with the FIEC ethos statements.

Wolverton Evangelical Church has been serving the Lord Jesus Christ in north Milton Keynes and the surrounding area for 50 years. Wolverton is a vibrant, long-established community with many young families and also a significant Muslim population.

The church has about 45 members comprising people from various nationalities and different age groups. We meet in a local school on Sunday mornings, with the evening services and other activities taking place at our own building. We are blessed with an established diaconate and some men who are able to preach occasionally and we are now seeking to appoint a full-time elder/pastor.

The church subscribes to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. We generally use Christian Hymns II and ESV Bibles. We have an established children's programme, activities for young people and a special interest in overseas missionary work. We have meaningful links with other gospel churches in the district.

We are looking for a man to shepherd the church by preaching, teaching and visitation; someone who has the ability to disciple new believers and train others for service. He must be able to work closely with fellow church officers and have those qualities that Scripture requires for eldership.

A manse is available if that is needed.
