Nestled in the expanding village of Saltford-right between the vibrant cities of Bristol and Bath-our community is ripe for the Good News, and our desire to share the Gospel is as urgent as ever. 

About Us 

We are a warm hearted and close church family blessed with a modern, purpose-built building that serves as a hub for our local community, with much potential. Each week, our doors are open for: 

•  Vibrant Sunday morning and evening worship services, along with Sunday School • Midweek Bible studies and prayer gatherings.
• Community outreach, including a thriving Toddlers group, regular coffee mornings, and a monthly lunch club Though small in number, our membership is deeply committed, offering a rich variety of gifts, ages, and a shared passion for glorifying God. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a faithful man of God who meets the Biblical qualifications for eldership (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1) to join us in loving, serving, and equipping our community. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preaching & Teaching: Faithfully opening and applying God's Word to feed and ground the church. 
• Pastoral Care: Shepherding the flock with warmth, compassion, and wisdom. 
• Leadership: Serving as an integral part of our office bearers' team to discern God's guidance for our church.
• Equipping the Saints: Encouraging and equipping church members to exercise their gifts in ministry and evangelism.

Theological Convictions Our new Pastor will joyfully affirm our Basis of Faith. We hold firmly to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, biblical creationism, and a cessationist position regarding sign gifts, however we believe in the vital role of the Holy Spirit in bringing souls to Christ, sanctifying believers, and helping in us our daily lives.
