Thundersley Evangelical Church is a growing family friendly independent evangelical church in Benfleet, Essex close to the city of Southend-on-Sea. We are committed to evangelism, are part of the Mission Essex network of churches and affiliated to the FIEC.
We are seeking to appoint a Pastor to lead this growing church, as part of the wider leadership team.
Required Skills
This full-time role will include:
· Regular preaching and leading in Sunday Services
· Encouraging discipleship and spiritual growth through pastoral care
· Co-ordination and development of youth and children's work
We are looking for a pastor who shows:
· Godly character
· Relevant experience and theological training
· Ability to preach expository sermons and teach God's work to all ages
