Nidderdale Community Church is a rural church with a desire to deepen in love for Jesus and a heart to share the gospel with the community throughout the dale. We are praying for a pastor to help shepherd the church in its call to grow in grace and make disciples. The role will involve, but not be limited to Bible teaching, pastoral care of the church, helping to equip the church in corporate and personal evangelism, leading discipleship groups as well as encouraging the church in prayer and Bible study.

Required Skills

To be suitable for this role you will need the Biblical qualities of an elder, be prayerful and growing in Christlikeness, seeking to walk closely with the Lord in your own personal life. You should have an ability to teach God's Word in an accessible way, be committed to the spiritual growth of the church alongside an enthusiasm for sharing the gospel with the community. Some previous experience in leadership and ministry is required, an ability to communicate well both with those inside the church and the wider community and to be an effective team player, but also be self motivated and able to work and organise yourself.
