Assistant Pastor

Paulsgrove Baptist Church is a friendly and diverse FIEC affiliated church in an area of social deprivation in Portsmouth, whose mission is "Growing lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ, by being a Christian, Caring, Community."

We are looking to appoint a man as Assistant Pastor to work alongside the elders in overseeing spiritual growth in the church and community.

Required Skills

We are looking for someone who:
• Is godly and humble in character, with servant leadership qualities.
• Is open to working in ministry in an area of social deprivation.
• Can teach the Bible and apply faith in Jesus in everyday life.
• Can support and equip volunteers in a range of ministry areas, including youth and children's ministry.
• Can relate to a variety of people in the church and community.
