Theological emphasis
While the Church warmly welcomes into membership evangelical Christians from a wide variety of backgrounds our theological position is reformed and not charismatic. A requirement of membership is believers Baptism with the exception of those who conscientiously hold to the paedobaptist position.
Leadership structure
The Church officers are the Pastor, other Elders and Deacons who meet frequently as a leadership team. Important decisions are made at members meetings which are normally held four times a year.
Style of Worship
We sing a full range of old and new songs. The musicians use piano, organ and other instruments. Preaching is predominantly expository and would typically occupy 30 to 35 minutes. Sometimes the format of the service may change to make the most of different opportunities.
The usual audio visual aids are used during the service. Sermons are recorded for CD or podcast.
Children leave for Sunday school classes half an hour into the morning service.
