Steep Turnpike Evangelical Church is a welcoming independent evangelical church in the centre of Matlock in the Derbyshire Dales. We are affiliated to the FIEC, and between 50 and 60 attend most Sunday mornings.
We aim to provide a supportive spiritual home for Christian believers of all ages and maintain an active engagement with our local community. We seek to provide a good standard of Bible teaching delivered by some of our elders and members, as well as a number of visiting speakers. We maintain an active interest in Christian mission in different parts of the world.
We are pleased to welcome those who may be interested in learning more about the Christian faith as well as visitors or newcomers to the area.
