A part-time position for someone with a passion for reaching out to young people and families, introducing them to Jesus and discipling.

Who we are An independent evangelical church at the Butts Green end of the market town of Alton, Hampshire. Morning congregations average 45 and we have a small youth ministry, but run a successful 4 day Holiday Bible Club each summer with 40-60 children, many unchurched.

Your role To lead and develop activities with children, young people and families supported by volunteers and so help fulfil our longing to see children grow in faith and the number of families in church increase.

Terms Hours: negotiable, but around 15 - 20hr/week incl. Sundays Salary: negotiable app. £12,000 - 16,000 pa. depending on experience Training: personal development is important and we will support this Responsible to: the Pastor and Leadership Team

Required Skills

Personal Christian faith and acceptance of the Bible as God's word. A Genuine Occupational Requirement is for full agreement with the church's basis of faith which is aligned to FIEC. Some experience of young people's work desirable.
