Important Requirements

Applications can only be considered from those who are UK citizens or who otherwise have a right to work in the UK.

You will need to be able to declare wholehearted acceptance of the FIEC doctrinal basis and agreement with the FIEC ethos statements.

At Christ Church Newcastle (CCN) we seek to grow our paid ministry team to better equip us to serve our growing church family and reach out to our city.

We are a church family in excess of 400 people (100 under 18s), approaching 300 on a regular Sunday.

CCN is located in the Newcastle suburb of Heaton.

Core to the role of ministry lead would be the development of ministry amongst women, connecting with women exploring CCN, evangelism and discipleship.

There are though a range of opportunities, depending on skill and experience, which could enhance the role and contribute to our church life.

These might include the development of training for the whole church family, overseeing evangelism, youth ministry, working with students, young adults or seniors, even involvement in our operations team.

If you came without formal theological training, there could be the opportunity to do Crosslands Seminary.

We currently have a range of working patterns on our staff team and would be willing to explore either part time or full time working.
