We are looking for a pastor 'full of the Spirit and wisdom'. Someone with energy and vision for building up and sending out a growing, inter-generational and increasingly multi-cultural church family to reach into the local community and beyond.

We are an FIEC, Bible-teaching church in the well-situated market town of Mold, North-East Wales. Our membership is currently 114, and our typical Sunday morning congregation, in person and online, is around 160 covering all ages. We seek to be welcoming and mission minded.

The Associate Pastor will work alongside our Senior Pastor, Elders and Female Pastoral Worker in all aspects of the spiritual leadership of the church now our Assistant Pastor is leaving to take up the Pastorate of our daughter church.

The Associate Pastor will take an active part in the preaching and teaching responsibilities and be involved in all aspects of the church's life and ministry.

The post is full-time, but we are open to other possibilities, given the right person.

Required Gifts and Experience

  • A mature faith in Christ and proven experience of church-based ministry.
  • Leadership experience overseeing and managing a local church family
  • A warm, gracious personality with pastoral gifts and experience.
  • A deep commitment to evangelism and making disciples of Christ
  • A team player with a proven ability to equip, and train members and leaders
  • A gifted and experienced Bible teacher and leader of worship
  • A willingness to appreciate Welsh culture and language although our services are conducted in English.
