We are looking for a woman who is:

  • Committed to the word of God and to prayer.
  • Passionate to see the gospel reach deprived communities.

The successful applicant will train and work full-time alongside our current pastor, being mentored by a female church member. Hardwick Baptist Church is located Stockton-on-Tees in a deprived community and exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ in Hardwick and beyond. We ask that a successful applicant will live in the local community and we expect them to become a member of the church.

Required Skills

Main Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Share the gospel message of the Christian faith. 
  • Get along side, pastorally care for, and support individuals within the church and community. 
  • Disciple believers and establish and support discipleship relationships.
  • Help establish new, and maintain existing, community contacts.   
  • Support the various ministries which serve the women of the church. 
  • Study on a relevant training course. 

Desired Experience/Qualifications 

Christian ministry qualification.  Experience working/serving within a ministry context. Ability to work with people of different ages and from variety of backgrounds. Driving Licence.
