Trainee Pastor
Hardwick Baptist Church
We are looking for a man who is:
- Committed to the word of God and to prayer.
- Seeking the Lord's will to train as a pastor.
- Passionate to see the gospel reach deprived communities.
The successful applicant will train and work full-time alongside our current pastor to help shepherd the church and reach the community.
Hardwick Baptist Church is located Stockton-on-Tees in a deprived community.
We ask that a successful applicant will live in the local community and we expect them to become a member of the church.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Share the gospel message of the Christian faith.
- Assist the Pastor with any duties associated with building a healthy church.
- Get along side, pastorally care for, and support individuals within the church and community.
- Disciple believers and establish and support discipleship relationships.
- Help establish new, and maintain existing, community contacts.
- Serve within, and support, a variety of ministries in the life of the church.
- Study on a relevant training course.
Required Skills
Desired Experience/Qualifications
- Christian ministry qualification.
- Experience working/serving within a ministry context.
- Ability to work with, and related to people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Driving Licence.
