Ministry Trainee
Greenview Church
The Ministry Trainee scheme with Greenview Church is a training programme designed to give practical church experience to an individual exploring the potential of full-time Christian ministry.
This role, open to both males and females, will involve working 10 hours a week as a church employee. This work will include serving the needs of the church in practical ways, as agreed with the supervisor/pastor. It will also involve shadowing the pastor and other members of Greenview's leadership and pastoral team to gain ministry experience.
Depending on the experience and gifts of the individual, this may involve developing skills in leading church services, giving bible talks, growing in areas of discipleship involving groups or enhancing skills in one-to-one discipleship.
In addition, there will be an opportunity for the individual to volunteer in an area of ministry as an ordinary member of the local church if they wish to do so.
The Ministry trainee element will go alongside the individuals attendance of the Cornhill Training Course (fees for this are not provided).
