Our internship provides the opportunity to serve as a member of the church staff for one year - allowing you to receive training and theological input whilst working to serve and bless the family of God here at Cornerstone.

The internship involves three strands: Ministry, Training and Serving:

Ministry

Each intern works with one or two specific ministries of the church, supporting its leaders, providing administration, teaching and leading and using other gifts as appropriate.

Training

Interns attend the weekly Midlands Ministry Training Course (MMTC) and the Living Leadership Formation conference.

Serving

Interns work as part of the Church Staff Team, having administrative and practical responsibilities that ensure the church and our ministries are able to operate and thrive.

Required Skills

We welcome applications to the internship from people at any stage of life, whether you're already at Cornerstone or currently worshipping elsewhere. So, whether you're looking for a hands on experience of what full-time ministry is like, or you've been a student at Cornerstone and you want to give something back to the church, or you'd just like to give a year to serving God and His people, then the Cornerstone internship could be just what you're looking for.
