FIEC Recognition of Church Plants

Guide 3 in our Church Planting Pack: How can a church plant be recognised as part of the FIEC family? What are the benefits for the church plant? This guide explains all.

This is Guide 3 in our Church Planting Pack. Click here to access the others.

FIEC is constituted as an association of Independent churches. Many church plants begin life under the authority and oversight of a sending church, and are therefore not technically Independent and cannot be affiliated as members of FIEC.

However, we want to support and identify with church plants that share our gospel vision. To this end, church plants can apply to be recognised by FIEC and, although not officially affiliated as members of FIEC, such plants would be regarded as part of the FIEC family of churches.

This guide outlines both the criteria for application and the benefits available to church plants that are recognised by FIEC. There is also an application form.

If you need any guidance in completing the application form please get in touch.
