Last week was our first ever Leaders’ Conference in Torquay. Numbers were higher than ever as we enjoyed fellowship together and teaching from Thabiti Anyabwile. We asked Dan Steel to give us his reflections.

More than 600 people have now booked for our first ever Leaders’ Conference in Torquay. But as we’re going to a brand new venue this year, we’ve compiled a list of things you need to think about before joining us in November.
Our Leaders’ Conference returns in November 2017. We’re going to a brand new venue but we’re taking the same ambition – to encourage and equip church leaders for their ministry in Independent churches. John Stevens introduces us to this year’s main theme and some of the speakers who will join us.
Last year it was fully booked and this year we can accommodate 600 people at our annual Leaders’ Conference. It will take place from Monday 31 October to Thursday 3 November in Hemsby, Norfolk and bookings opened last week. John Stevens explains why our conference is the place for leaders to be equipped and encouraged in their ministry.
This year’s Leaders’ Conference focused on making disciples. Next year we’ll build on those foundations by considering our work of evangelism and John Stevens would like your help as we plan the programme.
