Did you know that we have our own magazine? We hope so! It’s called Together, and who better to tell us all about it than Sarah Simpkin – our Communications Officer and the Editor of Together?

Since joining FIEC some 18 months ago, I have had the privilege of working on three issues of Together magazine. Produced every six months, the magazine aims to keep our family of churches up-to-date with what’s going on amongst the Fellowship and to touch on current issues that might affect the independent evangelical scene in the UK and beyond.

Recently refreshed to reflect FIEC’s new visual identity, Together is compiled and designed for you. Yes, you! Regular features range from updates on FIEC initiatives (for example the Women’s Ministry Team as featured in the latest issue), to news from our churches and book reviews.

pages from Autumn 2012 Together

The Autumn 2012 issue was just dispatched from the printers last week. In it Minister Steve Levy of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Swansea gives us an insight into the evangelical scene in Wales and we get an update from the Coalition for Marriage campaign. We hear from Tim Chester of The Crowded House (a network of churches that has recently joined the FIEC) and also how one of our churches is using its unique venue as an opportunity to tell snowboarders about Christ!

So if you would like to find out more about what our family of churches are up to and how FIEC is investing in local churches, then take a look at the new issue. Copies have been sent out to every FIEC church, so if you have difficulty in getting hold of copy then speak to your pastor or contact us.
