Ebenezer Chapel is a church revitalisation in a deprived area of north Liverpool. By God's grace we are now a growing church family made up of people of all ages, aspiring to be a gospel-centred community serving Walton and north Liverpool.

We are seeking to employ a women’s worker to help develop our ministry among women, where we have many opportunities for evangelism and discipleship. 

The role would involve developing and co-ordinating a strategy for evangelism, discipleship and training.

This is initially a 2-year contract for a part-time ministry role (~3 days per week), though we would love the applicant to be willing to give some time to further training and development. (We would welcome applicants interested in working full-time, but the applicant would need to raise a portion of their salary themselves.) 

Required Skills

This is a brand new role for the church, and so the applicant would need to have the vision and self-motivation to substantially develop the role themselves, according to the opportunities the Lord gives and the gifts of the applicant.

Our ideal candidate who would be a Christian woman with:

  • a godly character and high level of motivation.
  • a heart to make disciples through the ministry of the word and prayer.
  • a willingness to serve joyfully and sacrificially.
  • a passion to share and apply the gospel with women.
