We are a Christ-centred, evangelical, cosmopolitan church located in a diverse area of south east London. Our mission: ‘Partnering together to know Jesus and make Him known’.

We were launched 9 years ago as a church plant and since then have grown steadily, sending out a new church plant into the local area and setting up a debt centre. Our senior minister is now moving on to lead a large central London church and, with God’s help, we are seeking his replacement to take our vibrant church forwards.

We are looking for a man who will lead with vision and godliness, teaching the Bible faithfully, encouraging mission and overseeing pastoral care of our church family.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Elders, staff team and all our volunteers, providing leadership and practical support. The role will involve regular expository teaching, coordinating Sunday services, overseeing fellowship groups, leading our monthly prayer gatherings, strengthening our debt centre activities and guiding evangelistic outreach.

Required Skills

A deep, personal commitment to Jesus and a lifestyle that commends the gospel

A love for God’s Word and a conviction that teaching the Bible is central to the role and to ministry

A commitment to daily personal prayer and Bible study

A passion for sharing your faith with others

Formal theological education or training, and the desire to continue growing in knowledge and godliness

Previous experience in church ministry and leadership
