Safeguarding Consultant (Christian Safeguarding Services)
Contact usChristian Safeguarding Services exists to serve churches by supporting them with all their safeguarding needs. We are currently looking to fill several freelance roles within our expanding organisation.
Safeguarding Consultants will support churches with strategic or operational planning and development work.
Consultants will review and develop policies, audit safeguarding arrangements and support churches dealing with complaints or learning reviews.
To serve in this role you will need to have experience of safeguarding – ideally at a strategic level. Specific Child Protection Team experience is not necessarily required but an understanding of statutory and regulatory thresholds would be desirable. Suitable candidates could have a leadership background in Health, Local Authority, Children and Family Services or Adult services for example, or may have served in Education or the Police Force.
Consultants will be engaged on a project-by-project basis according to their own skills and availability.
