We are looking to appoint a pastor for Bodmin Community Church. BCC has 29 members and a regular attendance of around 40. We have a strong team of elders and deacons, and a part-time youth worker/trainee.
Bodmin is a town of around 14,000, situated in the centre of Cornwall, with easy access to the A30, the main route through Cornwall. The church does not have its own building and currently meets in the Anglican church hall.
This role presents some exciting opportunities to build on sound foundations that have been laid over many years. It is also a challenging one, requiring spiritual vision, determination and ability to lead.

We are looking for a godly man who is zealous for the gospel and able to lead and motivate in effective evangelism.
He should be able to preach and teach well.
He will have undergone theological training and will be able to communicate theological truth in a manner that is relevant and accessible.
He will be a man of proven leadership ability, able to lead us together into deeper and more effective discipleship.
Applications can only be considered from those who are UK citizens or who otherwise have a right to work in the UK.
You will need to be able to declare wholehearted acceptance of the FIEC doctrinal basis and agreement with the FIEC ethos statements.

Bodmin Community Church
Bodmin Community Church is a warm and lively evangelical church. Tea and coffee are served from 10.am until 10.20am and also after the service.
We are a Bible-Based and Christ-Centred church, meeting together for worship, preaching, teaching and Christian fellowship.
We seek to share the good news of Jesus Christ in our community, reaching out to all ages.
On Sunday mornings for the moment we mostly meet at St Petroc’s Parish Centre, Priory Road, Bodmin, PL31 2DL. It is opposite St Petroc’s Church. Free car parking is available in Priory car park on Sundays.
