We are a small but growing Evangelical church situated in a town on the edge of the New Forest, east of Bournemouth. Over the last few years we have been blessed with a number of families joining us, with this in mind we as a fellowship want to see the church continuing to grow and to be able to reach out to the many families and young people in our area. As part of that aim we are offering a part time position for a Youth and Families worker.
The main responsibilities for this post would be:
To run/co-ordinate the running of our K’nekted Club for 7-11 year olds.
To run/co-ordinate the running of our K’lossal Youth group for 11-16 year old group.
To help run the teen Gravity Bible Class on Sunday evenings.
To plan & run family events to engage families both in the church and the community. Being active in running, co-ordinating & encouraging evangelism across the church.
The post could also involve:
Setting up a club for children aged 4-7 years.
Setting up a mums and tots.
Running Holiday Bible clubs.
Putting on family services.

Basic terms: 24 hours a week spread across Thursday to Sunday.
Starting salary of £16,000 inclusive of pension per year, annually reviewed 3 month probation period.
18 days holiday (excluding bank holidays).
Initial three year contract.
The person applying for the position would need to be one who loves Jesus as Lord and Saviour, who holds to the Bible as the authority on life and godliness, be self-motivating and have a passion for the gospel, a keen eye for planning and an evident gift for evangelism and working with the young.
